The Bahrain Association of IB World Schools (BAIBWS) held its General Meeting on
Wednesday, 24 September 2025 at Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS).
This annual gathering provides a valuable platform for school leaders to meet, share experiences, and collaboratively address common priorities. During the meeting, Dr. Kamal Abdel-Nour, in his role as Director of BAIBWS, announced the conclusion of the current Executive Committee’s term. BAIBWS member schools then voted to elect the Executive Committee for the next session. We are pleased to introduce the newly elected members:
- Mr. Medhat Merabi – Director
- Ms. Bindu Pradeeb – Deputy Director
- Ms. Oula Akawi – Deputy Director
- Ms. Wala Fouda – Treasurer
On behalf of BAIBWS, we extend our warm congratulations to the new Executive Committee and wish them every success in continuing to serve the IB community across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Additionally, member schools voted to hold the next Bahrain IB Day at Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS). We sincerely thank all the schools that nominated themselves to host this important event and look forward to another successful and inspiring Bahrain IB Day.
